Rex and Mary Bailey from Oklahoma City visited in Cherokee last week. Mary lived in the Cherokee Home. They attended Cherokee Day on Saturday.

Relay for Life in San Saba last Saturday was a great sucess.

We were saddened to hear of the tragic death of Craigon Johnson. We extend our sympathy to his Mother, Ms. Emma Johnson and the other members of his family.

Zach and Alex Poss of Spring Branch have been visiting their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Avery Johnson. Their school has been shut down due to the Swine Flu.

Chris Perry was in Fort Worth last weekend to visit his Mom, Elaine Perry. She got a good report after her surgery. She should be going home the end of the week.

There was a bridal shower honoring Judy McCown at the Baptist Church last Sunday. Judy got many beautiful and useful gifts.

It was reported that there was a large crowd at Jackie Brister’s Birthday Bash last Saturday night.
