Private Applicator Training Class to be held June 1st

Texas AgriLife Extension Service in San Saba County is hosting a Private Applicator Training Class on June 1, 2009 for those individuals wanting to obtain a pesticide license. A Private Applicator License enables you to purchase and use restricted use chemicals. The training is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. at the San Saba ISD Agriculture Building. The cost of the program is $40 per participant, which covers the cost of instructional manuals and a catered lunch. A Texas Department of Agriculture representative will be on hand after lunch to give the test. The training will be limited to the first 30 participants who register. Registration deadline is May 26, 2009. Please stop by the County Extension Office to register and pick up your instructional materials. Materials will not be mailed.
