Junior Lady Dillos Wrap up 2009 Season - School & Sports - San Saba News & Star

The San Saba Junior Lady Dillos wrapped up the 2009 season by winning the 2009 Priddy Basketball Tournament.

The Lady Dillos were the defending 2008 tournament champions and finished the season with an impressive 23 wins and 7 loss record.

The Lady Dillos are led by McKenna Maxcey, who was recognized by several area coaches as the top point guard in the area. Tori Bauerschlag has quickly turned into a dominant force inside leading the Lady Dillos in rebounds, blocked shots and finishing second in team scoring. Joy Trujillo led the Lady Dillos in scoring, Hailey Osbourn led the team in free throw percentage, Ashlyn Turner was the teams second leading rebounder, Leigh Riggs was solid defensively and fourth grader Saveria Vasquez contributed valuable minutes off the bench for the Lady Dillos.
