Young Members of His Helping Hands
Thursday, April 30, 2009 • Posted April 30, 2009

For the past six months, the young members of His Helping Hands (service group of San Saba Area Christian Home Educators) have been sending letters and care packages overseas to our military. The goal was to adopt one male and one female soldier each month. Thanks to generous contributions, however, the group has been able to send over twice as many packages. We appreciate very much the donations and are especially thankful to members of the Bend Methodist Church, and the Llano Cowboy Church. This service project has been a huge success. It has been such a blessing to let our soldiers know just how much we care. Active helpers in this project were Catrielle and Gabrielle Oyler; Hannah, Ean and Ethan Evans; Garrett, Erin, and Patrick Ratliff; John Samuel, Ethan Allen, and Sarah Kate May; Kolt and Kort Sloan-Turner; Morgan and Megan Meriwether; and Timothy Krueger.
