Thursday, April 30, 2009 • Posted April 30, 2009

The next GED Test at Gatesville High School will be given May 12 and 13. Individuals wishing to take the test May 12 and 13 must complete registration some time between 5 and 7 p.m. on May 6. Be prepared to spend 30 minutes to an hour when registering. You need to bring with you a current state or federal photo ID, Social Security Card, and $65 fee for the test. Registration will be held in room 22 of Gatesville High-you need to come to the back of the high school to get to this room easily. If you have failed the test in 2002 through 2008 and need to retest one or more parts, each part cost $10 to retest and it must have been six months since you took the test or you have been to GED classes and you have a letter from the instructor saying you are ready to retest. You need to bring with you a copy of the previous test scores if you have tested before. If you are under 18, there are other qualifications also. Please encourage anyone you know that need to complete their education to find about the test. If you have any questions call 865-8281.

The GED test will be administered Tuesday and Wednesday, May 12 and 13, in Room 22 at GHS at 5:30 p.m. For more information, please call 865-8281 or 865-2460. Please report by 5:15 to take the test and be sure to bring original cards, license, and registration receipt at the time of testing.

If you know of someone interested in taking the GED, please pass this information on to them.
