The girls’ golf team, consisting of Sara Perry, Lacey Kothmann, Sara Thomas, and Brittany Cavness, participated in the Reg. II golf tournament last week.

The UIL Academic team had regional qualifiers in Abilene this past Saturday. Kayla Davis, Shea Crawford, Brittany Cavness, and Brianna Garza participated in the Spelling and Vocabulary contest. Michael Crawford, Yvette Torres, and Haley Lohrke participated in Literary Criticism.

Haley participated in Poetry Interpretation and won the gold medal. She will participate in the State Academic Meet in Austin on May 8th and 9th.

The track and tennis teams were busy with their district and area meets week before last. Participants and results will be available later.

The Sports Banquet is scheduled for May 7th at the Children’s Home at 6:30 p.m.
