Live Oak EEC club met April 20th at Live Oak Clubhouse
Thursday, April 30, 2009 • Posted April 30, 2009

The Live Oak EEC met April 20 at 2:30 p.m. at the Live Oak Club House.

The meeting began with the Club Collect repeated in unison by all present. We answered roll call by naming our favorite healthy food.

Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. Treasurer's report was also given.

Faye, Bertha, and Carolyn gave a report on the District meeting in Brady. Then we discussed the May Event. Live Oak is responsible for tea, coffee, orange juice, 2 sizes cups, and ice.

Faye Currie was chosen to be our delegate to the State Meeting to be held in San Angelo.

Carolyn McDowell presented an interesting program on chocolate. Good news for chocolate lovers! Chocolate helps lower blood pressure, raises good cholesterol, and lowers bad cholesterol. It also improves your mood.

Our hostesses, Faye and Myrna served goodies to Carolyn McDowell, Bertha Griffay, Amanda Jackson, Betty Wilson, Connie Ballinger, Dorothy Gage, and Suzanne Walters.

Some of us stayed after the meeting to work on our fundraiser.
