Bessie Mae Mabry, age 85 of Winnsboro, Tx., passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2009 in Winnsboro. She was born in San Saba, Texas on December 31, 1923 to the late Andy and Roxie Carpenter Morgan. She was a retired seamstress and a member of Harmony Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Winfred Edward Mabry; one brother; two sisters; and one infant son. She is survived by sons, A.E. Mabry and wife Betty of Winnsboro; Larry Mabry and wife Kathy of Winnsboro; Roger Mabry and wife Janet of Sulphur Springs; John Mabry and wife Liz of Winnsboro; Robbie Mabry of Winnsboro; daughters, Dianna Nelson of Winnsboro; Sandra Wallis and husband Don of Paris; Reba Dodd and husband Richard of Sulphur Springs; brothers, Wilbon Morgan and wife Ann of Claremore, Ok.; Walter Morgan and wife Wilma of Wills Point; Leonard Morgan and wife Lucille of Arkansas; twenty-one grandchildren; and thirty-seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 28. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Beaty Funeral Home in Winnsboro. Interment followed at Pineview Cemetery in Pineview. Pastor Eldon Hamilton and Pastor Art Walden officiated.
