On Tuesday, April 14th the Lady Dillos played the Lady Longhorns of Early at home. It was a difficult evening for the Lady Dillos. We were never able to get our bats going, despite repeatedly putting the ball in play. It seemed like every time we put the ball in play it was hit directly to someone. Unfortunately, on this evening, the Lady Dillos had a no hitter thrown against them. Early picked up the victory 10-0.

Tarah Crosby started in the circle for the Lady Dillos. Crosby pitched the whole game, giving up only two earned runs, but 8 runs were allowed to score on errors. While the defense did make some mistakes, there were also some shining moments on defense. Kristen Jordan played a great game at third base, stopping multiple line drives and groundballs. Silvia Jimenez and Whitney Key made great catches in the outfield.

The Lady Dillos finish up their season this week by going on the road to Comanche on the April 21st and playing Coleman at home on April 24th. I hope to see you at the ballpark. GO LADY DILLOS!!!!
