We have registered .7 inch of rain so far in February. The wind has blown so hard it has taken away most of the moisture. I did see some Algerita bushes blooming so I guess we can say that Spring is on the way.

Remember the gospel singing on March 15th at 7:00PM at the community center. All singers and musicians are urged to attend. Piano players are needed.

We were sorry to hear of the passing of Wayne Hardman of Brownwood. Visitation with the family was held Sunday evening and graveside services were held Monday at 11:00 AM at the Holt Cemetery with Netherton Funeral Home in charge of the services. We send our sympathy to all of Wayne’s family.

Did you see the eclipse of the moon last Wednesday night? If not, you won’t have another chance until 2010.

Several family members and friends got together and helped Marilyn and Michael Suber move across town in Richland Springs last Saturday.

Following a first round bye, the Richland Springs Coyotes won their basketball game last Friday night against San Isidro at Poteet by a score of 58-39. After winning regional they will now face either Knippa or Waelder this week in the quarter finals.
