Dear Editor,

On April 28, it will be a year since I moved to San Saba. My wife of many years had died, I was heartsick over that, and I needed a place to heal. I was weary of the city and wanted to live where I could see God's stars at night. The first time I went out with T. Noel Wood to look at property, I found the perfect home for me. I don't believe in "accidents" and I don't believe I could have found a better place to live and re-learn happiness than here in San Saba.

The good, good people I've met (T. Noel Wood, Cynthia and Marvin Weatherby, all the ladies at Arrowhead Bank, Sheriff Brown, Kevin Shahan, Mike McDowell, Dana and Larry Sanderson, the Grief Recovery class at the Baptist Church) and so many more fine folks have made me welcome and I appreciate you all more than I can adequately express.

Thank you all. Please know that you all have a special place in my heart from now on. Thanks again!
