Do Well, Be Well Diabetes Education classes to be held

Do Well, Be Well, diabetes education classes will be held each Monday in March beginning March 3rd, 5:15 to 7 p.m. at Rylander Library. The classes, sponsored by the Texas AgriLife Extension Service–San Saba County are free and open to the public. Sessions include:

March 3rd - What is Diabetes? Carolyn McDowell, CEA-FCS

Nutrition: First Step to Diabetes Management & Dietary Treatment of Diabetes Kelly Tarpley, Dietitian Llano Memorial Health.

March 10th - Diabetes & Exercise-Managing Your Blood Glucose.

March 17th - One Diabetes Diet–No Longer the Sole Option- Kelly TarpleyDiabetes Medicines, Jeff Willeford.

March 24th - Nutrition Labels, Kelly Tarpley, For Good Measure at Home & Eating Out, Kelly Tarpley.

March 31st - Preventing & Managing Complications.

Please call 372-5416 to register for this class. Refreshments will be served to help people with diabetes have a better idea of things that are appropriate for them to eat.
