On Thursday, April 2nd the 7th and 8th grade boys competed in a track meet at Brady. These young men should be congratulated on the fine job. Both teams made huge improvements in time and distance from the previous meet, and they should be commended for their outstanding performance.

Every one of them competed to the best of their abilities and as coaches we were very proud of them. With their attitude and willingness to work hard they will become better track athletes and better athletes over all.

The 8th grade boys finished 3rd and the 7th grade boys finished 6th out of 9 teams. These kids were battling adverse weather conditions and good competition and they showed great heart and competition.

We would also like to thank all of the parents for their support of San Saba Track. Because of the positive attitudes, continued improvement, and community support, we feel we have a bright future in San Saba Track. We look forward to seeing these young men compete next Thursday April 9th in Bangs for the District Track Meet.
