The San Saba Tennis Team played in the Mason Tennis Tournament on April 2-4. There were 25 teams at the Mason Tournament. The teams were Bangs, Blanco, Brady, Cherokee, Christoval, D’Hanis, Eden, Fredericksburg, Ingram, Irion County, Junction,Kerrville Tivy, Lampasas, Lohn, Mason, Menard, Nueces Canyon, Ozona, Paint Rock, Reagan County, Rochelle, San Saba, Sonora, Veribest and Wall.

Playing for San Saba were Jose Vega, Houston Casco, Josh Raiford, Diego Gonzales, Chase Key, Ariela De Giuli, Tayler Hibler, Tarah Crosby, Nicole Sears, Regan Hartranft, Brittany Moreno,Chase Pierce, Alex Rangel, Kobe Cisneroz, Romero Franco, B.J. Harbour, Kelli Cox, D.J. McKinney and Kristen Jordan.

Tayler Hibler came in 4th place in A Girls Singles. Tarah Crosby and Nicole Sears won to the quarterfinals in A Girls Doubles.

By the time you read this article the Armadillo tennis team will have played in the District 8-AA Tennis Tournament which was held on Apil 6-7 in Brady. Results of the tournament will be in next weeks paper.
