On Thursday, April 2nd high school boys competed in a track meet at Goldthwaite. These young men should be congratulated on the fine job they did in their first meet. All of our athletes finished at least 10th or better in all of their events.

Every one of them competed to the best of their abilities and as coaches we were very proud of them. With their attitude and willingness to work hard they will become better track athletes and better athletes over all. These young men are showing great improvement and the dedication to be successful and they should be commended for that.

We want to thank the community for their continued support of San Saba Track, San Saba athletics, and these young men!!

Varsity Boys Division:

3200 Meters = 3rd Diego Gonzales

100 Meter Dash = Hayden Oliver 4th and Jose Garcia 5th

200 Meter Dash = Jose Garcia 4th

1600 Meter Run = Diego Gonzales 2nd

Discus = Bobby Pairett 5th

JV Boys Division:

Triple Jump = Celestino Aguirre 1st place

High Jump = Ryan Pannell 3rd place

800 Meter Run = Buddy Bush 5th place

1600 Meter Run = Buddy Bush 2nd place

110 Meter Hurdles = Ryan Pannell 2nd place

100 meter Run = Celestino Aguirre 11th place, Martin Luna 10th place

200 Meter Run = Celestino Aguirre 11th place, Martin Luna 10th place , and Alex Cervantes 4th

Shot Put = Dominic Rosales 10th place and Alex Cervantes 11th place

Discus = Dominic Rosales 10th place and Alex Cervantes 11th place
