The entire faculty of San Saba ISD participated in a fundraiser for the new run through tunnel. The faculty donated money to wear jeans for the week after spring break, all went well, and we raised around 800 dollars. Elementary and middle school students participated in a coin drive, the winner has not yet been determined. The reward for the winning team’s contribution will be the opportunity to be the first students to run through the tunnel at the first home football game. Support for the fundraising has greatly increased and is continuing to increase as more and more people become aware of our project. The BCIS II class has now raised around $3,000 with $8,000 being their goal to be reached by May 29. All the support is greatly appreciated.
