Dillo Baseball Report - School & Sports - San Saba News & Star

This past week the Armadillo baseball teams each played 2 games. Monday the JV baseball team beat Fredericksburg Heritage 14-1 and this past Friday we beat Comanche JV 6-3.

The JV is now 5 and 1 on the year and 3-0 in district. The JV consists of 10 players all of which are doing a great job. The Dillo baseball team players are: Catcher, Luke Cox; 1st. base, Will Sloan; 1st.base, Tanner Hawkins; 2nd base, Michael Zimmer; Pitcher/Infielder/Outfielders, Clayton Perry and Zack Davis; 3rd.base, Tanner Wyerts; Pitcher/3rd base, Cody Herd; Outfielders, Issac Jimenez and Josh Wright.

They will be in action on Tuesday March 31st following the Varsity game at Coleman,then on Friday April 3rd at 4:30 p.m. before the Varsity at Dublin.

The Varsity played a non-district game on Tuesday, March 24th, Vs. Johnson City loosing 5-4 and beat Comanche 8-4 on Friday, March 27th. We are 8-6 on the year and 3-1 in district.

This week we play at Coleman on Tuesday March 31st at 4:00 p.m. and at Dublin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday April 3rd.See you at the park.
