The San Saba Tennis Team played in the Fredericksburg Tennis Tournament on March 26-28. There were 20 teams playing in the tournament. The teams were Blanco, Brady, Dripping Springs, Eden, Floresville, Fredericksburg, Ingram, Junction, Lubbock Cooper, Mason, Medino, Menard, Rochelle, Rocksprings, San Antonio Health Careers, San Antonio Highlands, San Antonio John Jay, San Antonio Marshall, San Antonio Taft, and San Saba.

The tennis team came home with 4 medals. In A Girls Singles, Tayler Hibler won second place. In B Girls Doubles Tarah Crosby and Nicole Sears won first place. In B Boys Singles, Kobe Cisneroz came in third place. Playing in the tournament for San Saba were Kobe Cisneroz, Chase Pierce, Kelli Cox, Romero Franco, Kristen Jordan, Luke Cox, Haylee Oliver, Tarah Crosby, Nicole Sears, Alex Rangel, Ryan Plumley, B.J. Harbour, Jonathan Ramirez, Chase Key, Diego Gonzales, Houston Casco, Josh Raiford, Tayler Hibler, D.J. McKinney, Lauren Dawson, Jose Vega, Marshall McIntosh, and Ariela De Giuli.

This week the tennis team will play in the Mason Tournament on April 2-4. On April 6-7, the tennis team will travel to Brady to play in the District 8-AA Tournament. We need to have everyone come out and support the Dillos on April 6-7 as they will try to get as many players as possible to the regional tournament.
