The Jr. High Lady Dillos had a very good day at the Hill Country Jr. High Relays in Mason last Tuesday, March 24, 2009.

Considering the girls had been on spring break the previous week and had only one day of work out, they did a great job. In some events it was obvious we were not up to par yet, but teamwise it was sufficient even though the individual did not do as good.

The 8th Grade Lady Dillos won the meet with 166 points with Goldthwaite in second place with 122 points. After two straight seconds, it was good to finally get over the hump and win one.

The 7th Grade has consistently improved each week. They scored 104 points, one point behind the 105 of Mason for third, and only five points behind the 109 of Goldthwaite for second. Junction won with 152.

The next meet will be in Brady on Thursday, April 2, 2009.
