T.A.E.A. from Sterling City featured for his outstanding Judging Career

Chad A. Coburn, Agriculture Extension Agent for Sterling City, Tx, judged the market goats at the 2009 Houston Livestock Show on March 10 and 11.

Chad has been featured in Purple Circle and Ranch and Rural Living magazine. He has enjoyed judging cattle, sheep, goats, and swine throughout Texas, including Dallas-market goats and San Antonio open sheep show of this year. He has also judged in New Mexico, Louisiana, Arkansas, and California.

Chad received the 2008 "Outstanding County Extension Agent-Agricultural Award" at a banquet on July 18th during the 93rd Annual Convention for the Texas Sheep and Goat Raisers Association in Kerrville, Texas.

Chad sums his judging career up in Purple Circle's article...."I have had many great experiences from my judging career. Some big, some small. I have great memories from my collegiate judging career and look forward to evaluating livestock for years to come. I give honor and glory to the Lord Jesus Christ for the many opportunities He has given me.

Coburn is the son of Winfred and Kathryn Coburn from San Angelo, Texas. He is married to the former Tracie McGehee, daughter of Roger and Glenda McGehee. They are the parents of two children, Addison and Gunner.
