The Central Texas Pecan Short Course will be held in Goldthwaite on Monday, April 6 at the Mills County Civic Center. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. with the program beginning at 9:00 a.m. There will be four (4) Continuing Education Units (CEU’s) provided for individuals with a Private Pesticide Applicator License. The CEU’s will be (2) General, (1) Laws & Regulations, and (1) IPM.

Topics will include Laws and Regulations, Pecan Disease, Pecan IPM, Managing Pecans in 2009, and Pecan Marketing. The program will conclude with a tour of Pecans.Com pecan facility. The cost for the program is $10 to be paid at the door and will include a noon meal. Participants are asked to register by April 1 by calling 325-648-2650.
