EZEKIEL 33:11 “Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked: but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways: for will ye die, 0 house of Israel ?” This verse was spoken by Almighty God to His own people concerning the spiritual and eternal death. (13) “When I shall say unto the righteous, that he shall surely live: but if he trust to his own righteousness and commits iniquity, all his righteousness shall not be remembered: but for his iniquity that he hath committed, he shall die for it.” Meaning the death of his soul. (4) Again when I say unto the wicked, Thou shall surely die; but if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right; he shall surely live, he shall not die. (16) And none of his sins that he hath committed shall be mentioned unto him: he hath done that which is lawful and right: he shall surely live.” The wicked can be given a clean slate. (18) “So when the righteous turneth from his righteousness and committeth iniquity, he shall even die thereby.” This is still talking about the spiritual death. (19) But if the wicked turn from his wickedness, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall live thereby.” This is the first time I have ever written a Gem to mix personal comment with the scriptures used as a text, but I believe it may help some to better understand.

Do these scriptures appear that God often changes His mind and will? The answer is a strong No. God has always desired for people to live righteously and gain an eternal life after this temporary life of flesh and blood. He knew the weaknesses of the flesh and He planned a perfect pattern to show how He wants this flesh life to be lived. He chose a virgin girl to be the mother of a Life that He would Father, and although it would be a life of flesh and blood born, of a woman; it would actually be perfect enough to be the living Word of God and as perfect as God Himself. That Life became known as Jesus Christ and was so perfect that God wanted to give Him as His pattern to show people how to live this flesh and blood life. In fact Jesus was such a perfect pattern God decided it was all people needed to follow and gain an eternal life; and His plan was completed. It would never be necessary to repeat it. And my friends, that is the reason Jesus Christ is always called THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD.

What are your plans, after this flesh life ends? Let me beg you to understand what it cost God to give His only begotten Son, and receive Him, as your Savior, while you are in this present life.

And let me also remind you strongly that the way you live this life in the flesh right now will determine the kind of body you will enjoy through out eternity. There will be an eternal life after this temporary flesh dies. If you believe that, it will be easy to make wise decisions.
