DiAnne Scott spent last week-end in Sweetwater with her brother and sister-n-law, Joe and Helen Oliver and had a booth at the Rattle Snake Round-Up.

The week-end of March 28th DiAnne will have a booth selling jewlery and crosses at the Johnson City Chili Cook-Off.

Robert Baugh took several elementary children to a youth rally at the Georgetown Church of Christ March 7, 2009. They all had a good time.

There is a Dallas Morning News’ Newstand in downtown Cherokee.

All the staff and children of Cherokee Home for Children spent four days of Spring Break at the Heart of Texas Bible Camp in Brady, Texas. They all had a great western time. There was a real chuck wagon that came and cooked for the children one evening. The chuck wagon group also played camp fire songs.

Rick Duggar came one day dressed in period costume and explained shooting techniques and did a cowboy action shooting demonstration for the children. There were lots of games, food, fun and spiritual enjoyment for all.

Robert Baugh hosted the children and staff of Cherokee Home for Children and others at his family place on the Colorado River. They spent time fishing and watching movies and had a picnic.

Tommy, Kaci, Talli and Tori Morrison enjoyed camping at Lake Brownwood during spring break.

Clyde (Skinny) Estep was laid to rest in the Cherokee Cemetery last week. We extend our sympathy to his family.

Richard and Michael Randolph were in Montana this week for the VanDyke Bull Sale.

Alex Poss from Spring Branch spent the week with his grandparents, Avery and Maurine Johnson.

Dusty and Mary Dell Rhoades are home from a cruise.
