On March 15,2009 the San Saba County Sheriff's Office received a call for service in Cherokee, San Saba County, Texas. Upon arrival, deputies discovered that a domestic disturbance had occurred, which resulted in an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

The victim reported numerous weapons at the residence. Area law enforcement was assisted by Texas Department of Public Safety Swat Team.

The suspect William Isaac Morrison was taken into custody without incident and charged with Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon and is in custody at the San Saba County Jail.
