Jordan Cattle Auction
Mason- San Saba March 12, 2009
Thursday, March 19, 2009 • Posted March 19, 2009

Receipts totaled 1035 head for the week and were limited because of the good 3 to 5 inches of rain that Central Texas received. Stocker steers sold $4 higher with heifers $3 higher. There were not enough feeder steers and heifers on hand to test the market but the ones selling sold on a steady market. Packer cows sold $4 higher and bulls were $3 higher. The 5th Annual Cattleman’s Kind Simmental and Simi/Angus bull sale saw good demand with the prices ranging from $1800 to $2800.
