Judy McCown of Brownwood, and Jason Carlisle of Early announce their engagement to be married July 11, 2009. The bride is the daughter of Roy and Joyce McCown of Cherokee. She is currently employed as a teacher at Victory Life Academy in Brownwood. The groom is the son of Terry and Brenda Carlisle of Early. He is employed at Kohler. After taking their vows, the couple will reside in Brownwood.
