Duke and Michelle Lindsey are pleased to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Kari, to Tyler Owen, son of Tammy and Randy Henderson of Cherokee and Les Owen of Los Molinos, California.

Kari is a 2004 graduate of San Saba High School and a 2008 graduate of Texas A&M University, where she earned her B.S. Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. She is currently employed by Colt Construction Co. while pursuing a career in teaching.

Tyler is a 2000 graduate of Liberty Hill High School and is also currently employed by Colt Construction Co. in College Station.

A March 28, 2009 wedding is planned at The First Baptist Church in San Saba with a reception following at the Henderson home in Cherokee. After the wedding they both plan to continue to reside in the College Station area.
