Thursday, March 19, 2009 • Posted March 19, 2009

JC’s (Jesus Christ’s) Kids is a team of young boys who signed up to participate in the upcoming San Saba Relay for Life on Friday, May 2-Saturday, May 3rd at Risien Park. Three boys, Wyatt Deans, Colt Carlisle and Logan Guidroz are the founders of this team and they are asking for your contributions to the American Cancer Society to help find a cure for cancer.

Other boys on the team are AJ Paredes and Julian Zapata but more young volunteers are needed to join the effort helping raise monies, work fundraisers and walk. They have a team goal of raising at least $1000.00! They are also collecting donations for luminarias in honor of a cancer survivor in memory of a someone lost to cancer. We ask that donations for these be at least $5.00.

If you are interested in making a donation to the American Cancer Society through this team, please contact us at 372-6061 or mail your donations directly to JC’s Kids, 1307 W. Sunset with your check made out to the American Cancer Society. THANK YOU in advance for your support of this worthy cause and our goal to make a difference!
