The 1st Annual San Saba Awards Banquet will be held Thursday, March 12th at 6 p.m. at the Civic Center.

The theme for this year's banquet is "It's About to Get Western," and the public is invited to attend and encouraged to dress in western attire if they wish.

Guest speaker will be State Representative,Harvey Hilderbran. Attendees will be entertained with live music by Austin's Bluegrass group, "The Sieker Band." Also, a 32 inch flat-screen television will be given away to one lucky winner attending the event. The menu for the night will be: pork steak, potato salad, beans, and cobbler.

Recognition of City, County, and school district employees will be made, as well.

Tickets may be purchased in advance for $10.00 each at Arrowhead Bank, Commercial Nationalaa Bank, City Hall, and at the San Saba County Chamber of Commerce Office or at the door.
