On Friday, March 6th, the 7th and 8th grade boys competed in a track meet at Hico. These young men should be congratulated on the fine job. Both teams showed huge improvements in time and distance from the previous meet, and they should be commended for their outstanding performance. Every one of them competed to the best of their abilities and as coaches we were very proud of them. With their attitude and willingness to work hard they will become better track athletes and better athletes over all. Both teams finished 3rd place in their respective divisions. Also, both 7th and 8th grade boys track improved on their team point totals from last week by at least 14 pts. We would also like to thank all of the parents for their support of San Saba Track. Because of the positive attitudes, continued improvement, and community support, we feel we have a bright future in San Saba Track.
