San Saba Power Lifters to compete in Regional meet this Saturday - School & Sports - San Saba News & Star

Five San Saba boys power lifters will be competing this Saturday, March 14th at Waco Connally Junior High in the Regional Power Lifting meet. These guys definitely deserve a pat on the back and words of encouragement as they embark upon this regional competition.

To qualify for this a lifter must be in the top 10 in his weight class within the entire region which goes from Ft. Worth to Austin to Brady.

These young men are the first San Saba Boys Power Lifters to qualify for the Regional Meet in a long time, if not ever. The lifters are as follow:

132 lb. Class = Allan Hale

148lb. Clas = Alex Cervantes

198lb. Class = Bobby Pairett

275lb. Class = Tyler McIntosh

SHW Class = Dave Smith
