Bobby D. Deeds left to be with his Lord on March 6th, 2009 at the age of 87. Bobby was born December 28, 1921, to Edward and Kate Deeds. He graduated from Richland Springs High School in 1940. Bobby married Helen Underwood August 9th, 1947. He was an aerial engineer staff sergeant in the U.S. Air Force. He was plant manager for Loadcraft Industries in Brady for years. He was a farmer and rancher in San Saba and McCulloch Counties.

Bobby was a great husband, father, neighbor, friend and papaw. He will be greatly missed.

Survivors include wife Helen Deeds of Rochelle; two sons, Bobby E. Deeds and his wife, Georgia Deeds from Goldthwaite; Benny and his wife, Becky Deeds from Mercury; one daughter, Brenda May and her husband, Danny of Brownwood.

Grandchildren include: Lance Rabenaldt, Cody Rabenaldt, Bobby E. Deeds Jr., Billy Dee Deeds, Brenda Lacey Deeds, and Kelly Brooke Deeds. Two step-grandchildren, Debbie Prescott and Duane Doyal. Numerous great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Proceeded in death by parents, sisters, Elsie Shoemake; Ella Mae Brown, and brother Clarence Deeds.

Services were held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Keith Simpson officiating, interment followed at Cox Cemetery.
