Gerald (Jerry) Conley, 71, of Grand Prairie, died Saturday February 28, 2009 at Harris Methodist Hospital, Ft. Worth.

Jerry has resided in Grand Prairie since 1969. He and his family were long time members of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He and his wife were members at First Baptist Church in Grand Prairie.

He is preceded in death by his parents, George Albert and Adelle Conley Kinsey. He is survived by: his wife, Charlotte Conley; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Michelle Conley; daughter, Jerilyn Conley Gidney; son, Brian Conley; step-daughter, Kimberly Jones; and six grandsons.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at the Guerrero-Dean Funeral Home at 500 E. Main, Grand Prairie, from 12-9 P.M., with the family receiving visitors from 5 to 7 P.M.

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Thursday, March 5, 2009 at the First Baptist Church of Richland Springs, Tx. (325)452-3318. Burial will follow at the Richland Springs Cemetery with Reverend Barry Fikes officiating.

Family is requesting that in lieu of flowers donations be made to your local animal shelter/SPCA.
