The 1st Annual San Saba Awards Banquet will be held Thursday, March 12th at 6 p.m. at the Civic Center.

The theme for this year's banquet is "It's About to Get Western" and the public is invited to attend and encouraged to "Cowboy-Up and Cowgirl-Up!"

Guest speaker will be State Representative, Harvey Hilderbran. Attendees will be entertained with live music by Austin's Bluegrass group, "The Sieker Band" and a 32 inch flat-screen television will be given away to one lucky winner. The menu for the night will be: pork steak, potato salad, beans and cobbler.

Awards will include:

*Man of the Year *Woman of the Year *Heritage Award *Business of the Year

Recognition of City, County, and school district employees will be made as well.

Tickets may be purchased in advance for $10.00 each at Arrowhead Bank, Commercial National Bank, City Hall, and at the San Saba County Chamber of Commerce Office or at the door.
