On Thursday, February 26th high school boys competed in a track meet at Blanco. These young men should be congratulated on the fine job they did in their first meet. All of our athletes finished at least 12th or better in all of their events. Every one of them competed to the best of their abilities and as coaches we were very proud of them. With their attitude and willingness to work hard they will become better track athletes and better athletes over all.

Varsity Boys Division:

Shot Put = Bobby Pairett 4th place 39’2’’

3200 Meters = Diego Gonzales 7th and Pedro Prado 12th

800 Meter Run = Jose Garcia 7th

300 Meter Hurdles = Jose Garcia 10th

1600 Meter Run = Diego Gonzales 6th and Pedro Prado 12th

JV Boys Division:

Long Jump = Alan Hale 4th Place, Alex Cervantes 10th

Triple Jump = Alex Cervantes 5th place, Celestino Aguirre 4th

4 x 100 Relay = Alex Cervantes, Steven Gonzales, Alan Hale, and Buddy Bush 4th place

800 Meter Run = Buddy Bush 5th place

1600 Meter Run = Buddy Bush 9th place
