Cleo Cupp Fitzgerald

Cleo Cupp Fitzgerald, 82, a resident of Richland Springs, Texas, passed away Friday, February 1, 2008 in Richland Springs. She was born March 27, 1925 in Sadler, Tx. the daughter of Irison Comie Kirk and Nora Kirk. In 1942, Cleo Kirk and Leeman Reasoner were married in Floyd County, TX. On December 9, 1973, Cleo Reasoner and Willie Cupp were married in Tulsa, OK. He preceded her in death February 29, 1992. On December 24, 1993 Cleo Cupp and Joe Fitzgerald were married in Greenwood Acres at Lake Buchanan, TX. Cleo attended the First Baptist Church in Richland Springs, TX.

She is survived by her husband, Joe Fitzgerald, of Richland Springs, Texas; one son, Alan L. Reasoner and his wife, Bobbie, of Wolfforth, TX; two daughters: Sue Reasoner Doughty of Bellville, TX; and Billie Parris and her husband, Ray, of Wimberley; Mike Fitzgerald, son of Joe Fitzgerald of Richland Springs, and Cathy Sawyer, daughter of Joe Fitzgerald, and her husband, John, of Llano, TX; grandchildren: Mark and Paula Maeker; Matt and Cheryl Maeker; Mike and Stacey Maeker; Troy Moss; Sarah and Brad Porter; James Gschwend; and Cody Dutton; grandchildren of Joe Fitzgerald: Anthony Sawyer and Kerri and Shawn Brantley; great-grandchildren, Jake and Allison Maeker, Austin and Zachery Maeker, Andrew and Abigail Maeker, and Johnny Gschwend; great-grandchildren of Joe Fitzgerald: Victoria and Courtney Sawyer; and one sister, Dink McGuire, of Cheyenne, Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one husband, Willie Cupp; three brothers; and one sister.

Services were held Monday, February 4, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the Howell-Doran Funeral Home in San Saba with Rev. Barry Fikes officiating. Interment followed at the Richland Springs Cemetery.

The family requests that memorials be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the American Cancer Society.

Services were under the direction of the Howell-Doran Funeral Home.
