San Saba EMS Needs Volunteers
Thursday, February 7, 2008 • Posted February 7, 2008

San Saba County EMS has been serving the people of San Saba County for over 22 years.

We are a group of trained volunteers, certified by the State of Texas.

EMS is available to the people of this county 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

This a little reminder of how many shifts we must pull and the number of people we need to fill these shifts:

Each day = 4 shifts = 12 volunteers

Each week = 28 shifts = 84 volunteers

Each month = 120 shifts = 360 volunteers

Each year = 1,460 shifts = 4,380 volunteers

Each shift has to have at least 2 certified people plus a driver who is trained in CPR and Emergency Driving.

The hours are long and often hard, but the rewards are many. San Saba Volunteer EMS is truly a living example of “helping our neighbors in times of need” and “giving back to our community.”

We have a new class that will begin on February 14th at 6 P.M. and it is very important that we add to our numbers.

Classes are held on Monday and Thursday from 6 P.M. to 10 P.M. and will end on April 21st.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!!! Please call one of the numbers below and volunteer today!!
