Coaches Comments: We played a regular zone defense and really concentrated on taking away shots in the paint. This also helped us rebound better. These two things helped contribute to the win. Good job!

San Saba Brady

1st 14 10

2nd 7 8

3rd 9 10

4th 8 8

Total 38 36

Aaron Rixse-6pts; 3FG

Juan Carlos Garcia-2pts;1FG

Hector Paez-2pts; 1FG

Diego Lara-2pts;1FG

Coaches Comments: This team played a very hard fought and very close game. It was nip and tuck the whole way. It appeared to be headed to overtime when Luis Vega had a steal and a layup in the last 3 seconds. This kept their unbeaten record intact. Four games have been decided with buzzer beaters, and there has been a different player each time. That shows how well they work together. Keep up the good work!

Russell Lowe-4pts; 2FG, 0-2FT

Aaron Perez-0-2FT

Coaches Comments: This team ended the season with a 10-7 record. We did not play as physical or aggressive enough to match the other team. Our shooting was off again and even the easy shots were not going in. Their hustle and effort has been there all year. It has been a joy and an honor to be their coach. Good luck in the future.

"B" Team

San Saba Coleman

1st 10 5

2nd 6 11

3rd 7 11

4th 17 9

Total 40 36

San Saba Individual Scores:

Luis Vega-3pts;(5x2)(1x3)FG, 0-2FT

Josh Robinson-10pts; 5FG

Aaron Rixse-2pts; 1FG

Diego Lara-2pts;1FG, 0-2FT

Juan Garcia-2pts;1FG, 0-2FT

Coaches Comments: This team played well together again. It was a close battle that was still tied at halftime. The second half, we got behind a little. We stepped up the defense and began to press. This created turnovers which led to some needed points to take the lead. This clinched their "undefeated" season. The whole year can be attributed to hard work, effort and dedication. Congratulations on a job well done. It has been a pleasure to be part of it!
