Wallace Creek EE Club meeting

The Wallace Creek Extension Education Club met February 19, 2009 at the Rylander Library. President, Lynn Blankenship called the meeting to order. The TEEA Creed was recited. Afterwards the members answered the roll call, "Name Your Favorite Leader and Why". The minutes were read and corrected. Imogene Hawkins gave the treasurer's report. The council report was given by Margie Osborn and Lynn Blankenship; further discussion was contributed by Sherri Cradduck.

The District 7 TEEA meeting will be in Brady on March 31 at the Brady Civic Center.

The May Event will be May 13, 2009 at the Methodist Church basement starting at 9:00 a.m. The members were encouraged to complete their projects for the Cultural Arts. The May Event will have judging of the Cultural Arts, members only, a silent auction, speakers, and a luncheon. The luncheon will be donations. This event is open to the public.

The new business was discussion about some repairs to the club house after the next meeting, March 19th.

The meeting was adjourned.

Sherri Cradduck presented the program "Personality Traits of Leaders". There were five divisions discussed. She then gave everyone a Personality Profile Survey. The program was very interesting.

Doris Cates, hostess served refreshments to the following: Margie Osborn, Noma Fitzgerald, Lucy Wilson, Imogene Hawkins, Jackie Doner, Lynn Blankenship, Sherri Cradduck and Doris Cates.

The next meeting will be March 19th at 2:00 p.m. at the Wallace Creek Clubhouse. Everyone is invited to come and learn more about the Extension Education Clubs.
