Act 4:10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. Act 4:11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Act 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

My thought today is, who is going to heaven and how do you get there? Are there many ways of salvation? Can people of any religion go to heaven believing what they believe, or is there only one way to gain heaven? If you choose to be Hindu or Muslim, or any other religion, will God accept that? Please understand that if man is allowed to choose His own way to Heaven, then all we have is a conglomeration of confusion. God's plan for the salvation of man is simple, specific and settled and will never be changed, or adjusted to suit man's philosophy.

I must politely, but positively and without apology state, that according to the Word of God, there is one and only one way to get to heaven. Verse 12 above says very plainly that Jesus Christ is the only way to be saved. There is none other name, whether it be the name of an ordinance, the name of a Church, the name of some good deed, or the name of some other god, whereby we must be saved. Only by faith in the crucified, risen savior, Jesus Christ, is there any salvation. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. I'm also reminded what Jesus said in John 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. It is very clear according to these simple scriptures that there is no salvation outside of Jesus Christ. All religions that teach anything other than Christ alone (plus nothing and minus nothing) are teaching heresy and condemning all who believe their doctrine, to an eternal hell. Some are trying to teach that Jesus is one way rather then the way. In our politically correct age, we find ourselves attempting to please everyone without offending any. It just will not work. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. It's God's way or no way.
