Linda E. Welch, 66, of Brownwood passed away Sunday, February 15, 2009 at Brownwood Regional Medical Center. She was born the daughter of Cameron H. Gustafason and Myrtle E. Bean Gustafason, on December 20, 1942 in Meridian, Texas. She attended the Lutheran Church.

Linda is survived by three sons, Barry Dean Denton of Brooksmith; Robert Cameron Denton of Granite Shoals; Steven Mathew Welch and his fiance' Delaina English of Brownwood; one daughter, Patty Watkins and her husband, Kenneth of Granite Shoals; six grandchildren, Barry Denton Jr. and his wife, Autumn; Thomas Denton; Isaiah Denton; Mark Denton; Ashlyn Watkins; and Shane Watkins; three sisters, Carol Anz of Clifton; Martha Gustafason of Flat; and Helen Dietiker of Clifton and several nieces and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, her brother and her sisters. Services were held Thursday, February 19, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the Howell-Doran Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Stan Roberts officiating. Interment followed at the Hillcrest Cemetery.

The family received friends on Wednesday, February 18th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

The family requests that memorials be made to the Donor’s favorite charity.
