The San Saba Rotary Club recently completed their annual Dictionary Project by providing dictionaries to all 3rd grade students in San Saba ISD, Richland Springs ISD, and Cherokee ISD in the month of January.

The Dictionary Project is a program to assist all students in completing the school year as good writers, active readers and creative thinkers by providing students with their own personal dictionary. The dictionaries are a gift to each student to use at school and at home for years to come.

Rotarians went to each school, spoke with the children, and even looked up a word or two with them. Every year this is a project that brings joy to the children and the Rotarians that deliver the dictionaries. This is the third year for the San Saba Rotary Club’s Dictionary Project.
