Dear Editor & San Saba County Residents,

We recently completed a 1321 acre prescribed burn at Colorado Bend State Park. I would like to thank our neighboring landowners and county residents for their support during the burn. During this period of prolonged drought, the prescribed fire has helped make the park safer by reducing wildfire danger, and has also improved habitat by reducing cedar and restoring native grasses to the area.
