We have the same old story, weatherwise, up our way, still dry. The skies are cloudy and misty but nothing to measure, so far.

We had a good visit with Wilma Lee and her daughter, Nancy, last Thursday at Hair It Is. Wilma felt well enough to come in for a permanent. She is back continuing her treatments this week but hopefully not for much longer. It was good to see her out and about.

Remember the community meeting this Saturday night at 7:30 p.m.Bonnie Evans and Kitty Cummings are the hostesses.

Mark your calendars for the third Saturday night in March when we will have another gospel singing on our community meeting night.

Marilyn and I attended the boys basketball game last Friday night when the Coyotes played the Eden Bulldogs. It was a hard fought game with good players on both teams, however, Eden came out the winner.

We had a very busy weekend keeping grandkids and so forth, but the highlight was a bridal shower in San Angelo for Stacie Smith, bride-elect of Santos Elizondo. Georgia Tucker and I accompanied Marilyn for the day. It was very nice with about 35 ladies in attendance.
