Thomas L. Edmondson

Thomas L. Edmondson, 92, of Victoria, passed awayThursday, January 15, 2009. He was born March 8, 1916, in San Saba, to the late S.D. and Addie Bell Carter Edmondson. He was a retired soil conservationist, a past deacon in the Baptist Church, and a member of the Fellowhip Bible Church.

Thomas is survived by his wife of 73 years, Hazel B. York Edmondson of Victoria; son, Thomas W. Edmondson of Victoria; sister, Roxie Taff of San Saba; brother, Howard Edmondson of Comanche; three grandchildren, Timothy L. Edmondson of Victoria, Paul Edmondson of Yorktown, and Tina Boehm of Yorktown; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Timothy L. Edmondson; sister, Tonnie Mae Alderman, and brothers, Joe, Jack, and George Edmondson.

Funeral services were held at Grace Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Malone officiating. Private burial followed at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

The family wishes to acknowledge Mr. Edmondson's caregivers: Dorothy Ross, Rachael Jones, Shirley Vaughn, Marcia Gardner, and Sylvia Reyna.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of South Texas or to Fellowship Bible Church.
