Michael Lee (Mike) McPherson, age 67, of Llano, passed away Friday, January 18, 2008. He was born August 5, 1940 in Llano to Samuel Grant McPherson and Ruby Mozelle (Cooper) McPherson. Mike was a body shop owner in Llano for over 35 years. He served in the U.S. Army, having served two terms overseas. He was a member of Llano Crawfish Open, American Legion, former member of the Llano Volunteer Fire Department, had coached Llano Little League for many years, as well as having served two terms on the Llano City Council.

Mike is preceded in death by his Parents and one Brother, Billy Wayne McPherson.

Kirk McPherson and his wife Le Anne of Llano

1 Sister: Sandra Overstreet of Llano

Jack McPherson of Llano

Sam McPherson of Llano

10 Grandchildren: Grant, Lee, Destiny, Jace, Autumn, Grant Michael, Cate, Kendall, Justin, and Claire

1 Great Grandson: Chantz

Funeral Services were held Tuesday, January 22, 2008, 11:00 AM, at Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home in Llano, with Rev. Jay Robertson officiating. Interment followed at Llano City Cemetery.

Serving as Pallbearers were Jim Ed Overstreet, Johnny McPherson, Jim McPherson, Emmett McPherson, Kevin McPherson, Frank McPherson, Kirk Winfrey, Gary Reed, and Charlie Owens.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Llano Crawfish Open, 303 Hwy 71 East, Llano, Texas 78643.

Services are under the direction of Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home, Llano, Texas.
