The Richland Springs Preservation Society met Monday, January 26,2009 at 7 p.m. in the Church of Christ community room.

Those present were Tom & Ann Alston, Paul & Jewel Larimer, John Earl McPherson, Becky McPherson, Ruth Lewis, George & Donna Hill.

President, Ann Alston, called the meeting to order at 7 p.m. and asked Tom Alston to lead in prayer.

Secretary, Becky McPherson, read the minutes of the November 24, 2008 meeting, when plans were made for the Dinner Theater December 4,2008.

The Treasurer's report was given by Ruth Lewis. The Dinner Theater was a huge success and enjoyed by all those present.

Thanks goes out to Mrs. Melanie Smith and the Richland Springs students who took part in the play and those who helped in any way; our preservation members who helped prepare food; to those who allowed us to use the cafetorium for this fundraiser; and those who came out and supported the students.

No meeting was held in December.

Our meetings are held at the Church of Christ community room on the fourth Monday of each month at 7 p.m. Everyone is invited to our meetings.
