The San Saba 6th Grade Junior Lady Dillos (18-1) are riding a 13 game winning streak. More importantly, they are riding a 4 tournament win streak. The Lady Dillos have claimed tournament championships at Brownwood,

Goldthwaite, Priddy and Zephyr.

The last two championships claimed on the same day, about two hours apart. On March 2, the Lady Dillos defeated the Bangs

Lady Dragons, 31-6, to win the Goldthwaite tournament championship. On March 9, the Lady Dillos defeated the San Saba 5th/6th JLD to win the Priddy tournament championship and a couple of hours later would travel to

Zephyr and defeat the May Lady Tigers, 36-3, to win the Zephyr tournament title and their second championship of the day. Earlier in the year, the Lady Dillos defeated the Brownwood Lady Lions, 44-25, to claim the Brownwood Tournament title.

The Lady Dillos were impressive as they traveled back and forth between Priddy and Zephyr all week to play through the tournament qualifying rounds and advance to the tournament championship games. The Lady Dillos will be taking part in the San Saba Tournament this Saturday, March 23, and will open up tournament play at 2:35p.m. Team members are, Hannah Osbourn, Savannah Johnson, Casey Mathis, Linzey Maxcey, Kirsten Jimenez, Ashlynn Cash and Brenna Chambers.
