The San Saba JH Girls track season is under way with the girls competing in Early and Goldthwaite over the last two weeks. All the girls competed well on cold windy nights and represented San Saba well. The results are:

7th grade Early Meet: Analyn Bohensky – 1st Pole Vault, 1st long Jump, Sydnie Norris – 3rd 100m Dash, Ivonn Franco – 5th 300m Hurdles. The 4X100m relay team of Analyn Bohensky, Sydnie Norris, Nayeli Aguirre and Triston Reynolds placed 6th, the 4X200m relay team of Analyn Bohensky, Sydnie Norris, Nayeli Aguirre and Triston Reynolds placed 6th and the 4X400m relay team of Analyn Bohensky, Mikayla Guardado, Nayeli Aguirre and Dyansty Saldivar placed 6th.

7th grade Goldthwaite Meet: Analyn Bohensky – 1st Pole Vault and 100m dash, 3rd long Jump, 4th 200m Dash, Sydnie Norris – 4th 100m Dash, 6th 200m Dash. Jasmin Rocha cleared the opening height in the High Jump and Dynasty Saldivar and Mikayla Gaurdado competed in the Shot and Dicus. Ivonn Franco showed improvement in both the 100m and 300m Hurdles. Nayelia Rocha competed in the 1600m, 800m and the High Jump.

8th grade Early Meet: Raylee Pannell – 3rd High Jump, 2nd 400m Dash, Shayna Underwood – 1st 300m Hurdles, Kimeri Moore – 6th 200m Dash, Zariah Arzate – 6th 100m Dash, Abigail Ingram – 4th 2400m and 1600m Run, Juana Macias – 3rd 2400m and 5th 1600m Run, Raley Kirk – 3rd Discus. The 4X100m relay team of Shayna Underwood, Hannah Hibler, Raylee Pannell and Kimeri Moore placed 3rd; the 4X200m relay team of Zariah Arzate, Shayna Underwood, Kimeri Moore and Bailey Santefemia placed 5th and the 4X400m relay team of Baylee Williams, Alexis Lewis, Bailey Santefemia and Raylee Pannell placed 6th. Kassidy Ellis competed in the High Jump, Shot Put and 200m Dash. Lexie Hayes competed in the Shot Put and 100m Dash and Katy Jennings ran a sub 8 minute 1600m.

8th grade Goldthwaite Meet: Raylee Pannell – 5th High Jump, 2nd 400m Dash, Shayna Underwood – 1st 300m Hurdles, Kimeri Moore – 5th Long Jump, Zariah Arzate – 6th 100m Dash, Abigail Ingram – 2nd Pole Vault, Juana Macias – 4th 2400m and 5th 1600m Run, Alexus Patterson – 5th Discus. The 4X100m relay team of Shayna Underwood, Savera Vasquez, Raylee Pannell and Kimeri Moore placed 2nd; the 4X200m relay team of Zariah Arzate, Hannah Hibler, Kimeri Moore and Savera Vasquez placed 6th and the 4X400m relay team of Shayna Underwood, Savera Vasquez, Kimeri Moore and Raylee Pannell placed 6th. Kassidy Ellis competed in the High Jump, Discus and 100m; Lexie Hayes competed in the Shot Put and 100m and Katy Jennings ran the 1600m and 800m; Bailey Santefemia ran the 100m Hurdles, 200m and 400m; Baylee Williams competed in the 100m and 300m Hurdles and Alexis Lewis ran the 800m and 400m.
