Second Chance
Thursday, March 21, 2013 • Posted March 20, 2013

Two men might have been left behind if not for one man's gift of encouragement. Paul and John Mark were given the gift of a second chance. We are called to do the same. We are to believe the best about people rather than the worst. Despite their reputations, despite their questionable past performances, we must look at people through the eyes of God and see what He sees.

We need to see people as assets, not liabilities.

1 Corinthians 6:9-11: "Do you know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God?....And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God."

God will change a person from a wicked sinner into a blessed saint when they obey God.
